QUAD HANDSFREE VOIP ADAPTER
INTRODUCTION
The VIP-904 Quad Handsfree VOIP Adapter
connects Valcom MultiPath talkback paging
system zones to Valcom Enhanced Network
Audio Port devices (VIP-80x series) for
distribution over an IP network. Up to four
MultiPath zones may be connected to each
VIP-904, with each connected zone requiring one
port on a Valcom VIP-801, VIP-802 or VIP-804.
The MultiPath zone audio will be distributed by
the Enhanced Network Audio Port over the IP
network to other IP endpoint devices. Contact
closures (call button presses) will be passed over
the IP network from the zone endpoint to initiate a
call into the MultiPath.

INSTALLATION
Mounting
The VIP-904 is designed for wall mounting.
Using the wood screws provided, secure the VIP-
904 to the wall through the mounting holes in the
outer flange of the VIP-904.
Power Connections
The VIP-904 does not require a separate power
source.
Signal Connections
The VIP-904 has 4 screw terminal block
connectors for 4 separate paging zones. Four
RJ-45 jacks provide connections to a VIP-801,
VIP-802 or VIP-804 Enhanced Network Audio
Port. Labeled Port 1, Port 2, Port 3 and Port 4.
each of the screw terminal blocks corresponds to
the Port directly across from it.
Paging System Connections:
