13. Storing the machine.
When not being used, these tools must be
stored in a dry place, on a high shelf or in a
locked cupboard out of the reach of children.

Use safety goggles, safety shoes, protective
gloves, and ear and head protection.
15. Transporting the machine.
When not in use, transport the machine by
using its handgrips. Keep your fingers away
from the switch.
16. Do not pull or yank the cable.
Never transport the machine holding it by the
cable. Keep the cable away from sources of
heat, oil, and sharp edges.
17. Working in safety.
Before starting to work, make sure the working
area is not slippery and that it allows enough
freedom of movement. Never use on ladders
or other means of support which could com-
promise the operator’s balance.
18. Avoid unsafe movements.
Always make sure that your stance is suppor-
ted and balanced.
19. Use care in the maintenance of your machi-
ne. Periodically check the cable of the machine.
If it is damaged, have it repaired immediately
at an authorised customer service centre.
Follow the instructions for lubrication and
changing the accessories. Keep the handles
clean and dry.
20. Removing the keys.
Before using, always check that all tools have
been removed from the machine.
21. Avoid accidental starts.
Never transport the machine while connected
to the power supply and with your finger on the
on/off switch. Check that the switch is in the
off position when you connect the machine to
the power supply.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The olive tree shaker is a battery-powered
electromechanical tool designed for harvesting
olives, hazelnuts, walnuts, chestnuts and any
other fruit which can be removed from a tree
by shaking and collecting it from the ground.
The power unit is powered by means of 12V
batteries (not supplied with the machine).
GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
1.The olive tree shaker must not be used by
people under the influence of alcohol, drugs
or medication which limit their attention and
reflexes.
2.The olive tree shaker is only allowed to be
used by trained people who are familiar with
the user instructions.
3.Keep all moving parts away from the face.
4.Before any maintenance, turn off the olive tree
shaker and disconnect the power supply cable
from the battery.
5.Only use the tool for the purposes indicated
in the paragraph “General information”. Any
other use is to be considered inappropriate
and therefore dangerous.
6.Turn off the ON/OFF switch when the tool is
not in use.
7.The olive tree shaker must be equipped with
the tools recommended by the manufacturer.
8.Frequently check the tools during operation
and replace them if they are damaged.

11.Never use the machine in areas where there
is a danger of explosion, or near flammable
liquids or gases. Do not expose the machine
to rain. Do not use the machine in damp or
