WEIGHTING
When ready to use, turn the scale back on.
1. When ready to use, turn the scale back on. The display will flash for 2 or 3 seconds, and then
it will register “0.00”. Once the “0.00” appears, the scale is ready for use.
2. Units Switch Function: Turn on the scale and wait
3. Until the screen displays “0”, and the initial unit is “kg”. Press down the “MODE” button to
switch the unit. Once per pressing down, the unit will switch from one unit to the next unit,
and the order of the units is “kg”-“oz”-“lb”
4. Do not place objects exceeding the capacity of the scale on the weighing platform, or the
scale will read “H”. If the scale is overloaded too much, it will be damaged and the damage
thus caused is not covered by the warranty.
5. To weigh your pet while contained in a carrier or cage:
6. If you turn on the scale and it does not register “0.00”, press the “TARE” key to restore it to
“0.00”
7. When the readout displays “0.00”, place the empty carrier or cage on the scale. The LCD
screen will then show the weight of the cage or carrier. Press the “TARE” button, and the
display will register “0.00” again. You can now place your pet in the carrier or cage to get an
accurate weight.
8. Another option is to place the empty carrier or cage on the scale before turning it on, and it
will automatically read “0.00” once powered on. Place your pet in the carrier or cage to
determine its weight. If choosing this method, once your pet and the cage or carrier is
removed, the scale will display a negative value equaling the weight of the cage or carrier.
Press the “TARE” button to return the display readout to “0.00”.
9. C/R BUTTON: Switch to different Capacities with different readabilities. Press down the
“C/R” button, the capacity of the scale will change. In the meantime, the readability of the
scale will change also as the capacity change. Once per pressing down this button the
capacity and the readability will change. Different editions of the scale have different types
of capacity/readability, and there are at least 3 types of capacity/readability inside the scale.
10. PCS BUTTON: Pieces counting function:
11. Counting mode: Press down the “PCS” button in the weighing mode, the scale will switch to
the counting mode. Press it again, the scale will return to the weighing mode.
