VRI-iS Enable/Disable
VRI-iS is only available when VRI-iS has been con-
figured in a Comm Port. After the control panel has
been set up, the VRI-iS option can be enabled or
disabled by doing the following:

VRI-iS screen. See Figure 40-1.
9. Check the
VRI-iS
checkbox to enable VRI-iS.
Set the Constants for VRI-iS
10. Push the
VRI-iS Constants
button to display the
VRI-iS Constants screen. See Figure 40-1.
11. To change the valve resync pressure, select the
Valve Resync Pressure
field. See Figure 40-1.
12. Using the numeric keypad, enter a new resync
pressure value. Typically set 5 psi (34.4 kPa) be-
low the maximum pressure setting. The range is
1-999 psi (6.90-6887.90 kPa). The default is 60
psi (413.7 kPa).
13. Select the
Min Cycle Time (seconds)
field, and
enter the minimum cycle time value using the nu-
meric keypad. The range is 1-255 seconds. The
default is 20 seconds.
14. Select the
Max Cycle Time (seconds)
field, and
enter the maximum cycle time value using the
numeric keypad. The range is 20-9999 seconds.
The default is 1800 seconds.
15. Select the
# of Sprinklers
field, and enter the
number of sprinklers shown in the Sprinkler
Chart using the numeric keypad.
16. Select the
Last Sprinkler Position
field, and enter
the last sprinkler position distance from the pivot
point in feet or meters using the numeric keypad.
17. Select the
Sprinkler Spacing
field, and enter
the space between sprinkler valves using the
numeric keypad.
If spacing varies, choose the spacing used
farthest out on the machine.
18. Check the
Speed Optimization
checkbox to en-
able Speed Optimization.
NOTE
• The Speed Optimization feature speeds
up the machine if, in a given sector, all
the Duty Cycles are less than 100%. When
VRI-iS is enabled and on, and Speed Op-
timization is enabled, the HOURS PER
PASS on the status screen is not valid.
