Clean the Generator
1.
Turn off the generator, and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
2.
Thoroughly wipe all surfaces of the generator and power cord with a mild
cleaning solution or disinfectant and a damp cloth. Follow the procedures
approved by your institution or use a validated infection control procedure.
Ship the Generator
1.
Attach a tag to the generator that includes the return authorization number and
the information (hospital, phone number, etc.) listed in
Obtain a Return
Authorization Number
.
2.
Be sure the generator is completely dry before you pack it for shipment.
Package it in its original shipping container. If the original shipping container
is not available, request one when obtaining your Return Authorization
Number.
3.
Ship the generator, prepaid, to the Valleylab Service Center.

Do not allow fluids to enter the chassis.
Do not attempt to sterilize the generator.
Notice
Do not clean the generator with abrasive cleaning or disinfectant compounds,
solvents, or other materials that could scratch the panels or damage the
generator.
