3.3. Fans

• It is a good idea to check the cleanliness of the fans in

connection with the maintenance of the filters and heat
recovery cells. Clean them when needed.

• You can take the fans off by opening the fixing screws

(4 screws) and the quick couplings of the conductors. You can
clean the fan blade by blowing it carefully with compressed air,
brushing with a brush or by using a damp cloth to wipe each
blade so clean that the fans stay in balance. Also clean the fan
hoods.

•

Rinsing water into the fan motor is absolutely forbidden!

3.4. Condensing water connections

• During maintenance, also check the unit’s reservoir and the

condensing water connections.

• To see the condensing water connections, remove the socle. If a

condensing water tank is in use, it can be drawn out by pulling
it forward. The tank can be removed for emptying and
cleaning.

•  When the condensing water outlet is in use, check its condition

and make sure it is not clogged.

4.  Pressure difference switch

4.1.  Pressure difference switch setting

You can modify the operating threshold of a pressure difference
switch as follows:
Remove VALLOX 280 from the electric circuit by switching off input
voltage at the distribution panel, for instance.
1. Take off the upper door of the unit.
2. Take off the cover of the connection box located inside the unit.
3. Take off the cover of the pressure difference switch and turn the

adjustment wheel to the desired setpoint (see the figure and the
adjoining table).
