b.  While holding the screen, swivel down the top 

levers and push them away from the center to 
lock the screen. Check that the screen is solidly 
hooked to the window frame.

Checks

A

 periodic check of the pilot and burner 

 ames should 

be made. Check after the 

 re has been on for at least 

30 minutes. The pilot 

 ame must cover the tip of the 

thermocouple probe. The main burner 

 ame pattern will 

vary from appliance to appliance depending on the type of 
installation and climatic conditions——see images below.

The appliance area must always be kept clear and 
free from combustible materials, gasoline and other 

 ammable vapors and liquids. Inspect the vent terminal 

outdoors regularly to make sure that, snow, leaves, 
bushes, trees, etc, do not obstruct it. Examine the vent 
system and terminal regularly. We recommend annually.

7.  Reinstall the window. 

a.  Hook the window over 

the top edge of the 

 rebox, and fasten 

the bottom two 
spring- loaded 
bolts by pushing 
in and turning 
them 90 
degrees.

b. 

If the Hot Glass Warning plate has been 
removed from the front lower corner of the 
window, reinstall it by sliding it between the 
glass and the frame as indicated.

8. 

Reinstall the barrier screen.

a.  Hook the bottom of the screen to the bottom 

edge of the window frame and then push the 
screen against the window frame.
