Mounting instructions

nstall the filter in closed spaces protected from freezing, high temperature or direct sunlight;

ounting position: vertical, cover up;

or the connection, use fittings with cylindrical thread; never use tapered threads;
•

or sealing, use only teflon tape or string;
Do not use sealing adhesives; otherwise, the system cannot be disassembled.
Note

ake sure there is a stop valve upstream of the filter to be able to shut off water supply during
interventions;
•
f
or critical applications where water supply cannot be shut off, it is recommended to install a by-pass;
•
w
hen changing the cartridge, after having shut off water supply upstream, open the downstream drain
valve to release the pressure from the installation;
•
i
f there is a water hammer risk, protect the filter with an appropriate device;
•
c
lean the filter (cup + cover) using water and common dishwashing detergent; do not clean with
aggressive chemical substances (acids, etc.);
To avoid operating and maintenance issues
• observe the flowing direction indicated on the cover;
• after installation and every time you change the filtering cartridge, let water flow for 2-3 minutes.
• if aquaPURE filters are used for drinking water, ensure that the water source is microbiologically safe.
