PORTABOOM® Tower Setup Process
As per steps 2 and 3, identify potential
hazards prior to positioning PORTABOOM®
i.e. Look for low lying power lines, tree
branches, street lights, road signage which
the PORTABOOM® Boom Arm may come in
contact with in its setup and operation.
(PORTABOOM® Boom Arm raised)
Ensure PORTABOOM® is setup with
PORTABOOM® Boom Arm raised after
identifying a position clear of all hazards
Also noting that when on site there may be a
requirement due to loose surface conditions,
uneven surfaces and/or restricted spaces to
move the PORTABOOM® Tower to a location
that would be more suitable for operation (i.e.
a position that would be more level).
Ensure any changes are updated on the On-
site Record and TMD.
