8. Place the rear left top log on top of the
middle log and the rear log. Match the
pin on the middle log with the round hole
in the bottom of the rear left top log (see
Figure 36. The rear log has a flat area for
the back of the rear left top log to set in.
9. Place the rear right top log on top of the
middle log and the rear log. Match the pin
on the middle log with the round hole in
the bottom of the rear right top log (see
Figure 36). The rear log has a flat area for
the back of the rear right top log to set in.
10. Place the left and right ember logs as
shown in Figure 37. Do not place the logs
on the ember bed pan they are intended
to cover the sheet metal on the front of
the base assembly.

Note: Your appliance may vary from model
shown but log placement will be the same.
1. Before placing any logs on the chassis you
will need to remove the Air Shield located
on the left side near the rear burner as
shown in Figure 38. The Air Shield is held
in place with one screw, remove the Air
Shield and place the screw back into the
hole in the chassis. Place the Air Shield
with you owner's manual and keep.

2. Place fiber ramp log in center of chassis
as shown in Figure 39, page 23. The fiber
ramp log can be identified by the shape
and much lighter weight when compared
to the other logs. The log must sit flat on
the black sheet metal and behind the left
metal tab as shown. Make sure the side
marked ''BOTTOM'' is setting down.
