M.2 SATA SSD to USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C Enclosure

Preparing the newly installed SSD for use:

All NEW USB storage needs to be initialized, partition and 
formatted for the Operating System you are using before it 
can store data. For Windows OS, use Disk Management and 
for OS X, use Disk Utility.

 

If the M.2 is not new and have important data already on 
the m

emory module, DO NOT initialize, it will erase 

all the DATA.

. Verify the package contents.

Hold the enclosure at the angle 

      shown to remove the cover. Note 

      the cover latch for locking the 

      cover on one end.

Please tilt the enclosure and carefully take the PCB out.

      Insert at an angle the M.2 Module into the M.2 interface 

      with label face up. Insert NUT-A as shown

Once the M.2 is secured, replace the cover shown. 

      Note the cover latch. Secure the cover using two 

      SCREW-E to hold the cover in place.

Insert the PCB back carefully by putting the 

     connector side into the enclosure first aligning 

      the USB-C and Lock Switch port to the opening 

      correctly.

Push down the module and secure it with the 

      screw (SCREW-B) from the back of the PCB on 

      to NUT-A.

For Write-Protect to function correctly, You MUST adjust Read 
Only or Read/Write mode before connecting USB to Computer

the other end to your computer USB-C or to USB 

Type A port ( NOT both ).
