Description of the Renew button
•
When a system upgrade drive is inserted in the SD slot or USB port, a short press of
the button for about 2 seconds will cause the status indicator to blink, suggesting
system upgrade is in progress. Once the upgrade finishes, the system will reboot (from
eMMC flash).
•
When the button is pressed and held for 3-10 seconds, user configurations and custom
settings will be removed and the Gateway will be factory reset. Once finishes, the
system will reboot.
•
When the button is pressed for over 10 seconds, user partitions will be formatted and
data in such partitions will be cleared.
