Boot Mode
The Board has three modes to boot up.
•
Normal mode
VT-SBC-RK3568-NT starts up automatically, with modules loading in sequence to boot
up the system normally.
•
Loader mode
Under the Loader mode, bootloader will enter the upgrade mode and wait for
commands from the host for firmware upgrade. To enter the Loader mode, the
RECOVERY key shall be pressed at the system bootup. Specifically:
1)
Make sure the Board is powered on;
2)
Connect the Board to the host PC via a USB Type-C cable;
3)
Press the Recovery key (TS7) and hold;
4)
Short press the Reset key (TP12);
5)
Release the Recovery key.
If the above steps do not work, please press the keep the Recovery key pressed
and long press the Power on key (TP11), then release the Power on key and
Recovery key in sequence.
•
MaskRom mode
MaskRom mode is used for system recovery when the bootloader is damaged. In
general, only when the bootloader verification fails (the IDB block cannot be read, or
the bootloader is damaged), the BootRom code will enter the MaskRom mode. At this
time, the BootRom code will wait for the host to transmit the bootloader code through
the USB interface, then load and run the code:
1)
Short TS5 and TS6 with tweezers and hold for a while;
2)
Connect the Board to the host PC via a USB Type-C cable;
3)
Release the tweezers and the system will enter the MaskRom mode.
