HIGH ALTITUDE CONSIDERATIONS

•

The specifications provided in the Instructions for Use are for sea

level conditions, unless otherwise noted.

•

The density of air is lower at higher altitudes and has an impact

on the flow capacity of the compressor.

•

This table provides guidance for operating at higher altitudes.

•

Operating above the flow rates show for a given altitude and FiO

2

level may result in condensation or water collecting in the water

trap at the back of the Precision Flow device.

•

Monitor the water trap regularly and empty the trap if necessary

to prevent possible water entrainment into the Precision Flow.

•

It is normal for the Precision Flow air water trap to be less than

1/4 full.
