Triggering the detector is the attempt to synchronize the detector to other devices, for example,
other X-ray sources that have their specific schemes of radiating X-ray pulses. In Continuous
readout mode there are three trigger sources available:

In Software Trigger, the trigger is sent by the software (SCap or API function). In SCap, this
mode is selected using Configuration – External Trigger – Software Trigger and following the
