2.3 Basic information
2.3.1 Machine use
The

lawnmower is intended for is intended for cutting and maintenance grassy areas in small parks and kept planes (i.e.
flat, regularly cut areas, without holes), round the houses and recreations objects. The lawnmower is in no case intended for smoothing out
the mole-hills, cutting the chuckholes, shrubs etc.
It is forbidden to remove any protective devices and covers from the machine.
Mow only in daylight or in good artificial light.
Check that all nuts, bolts and screws are well tightened.
Before mowing place the grass bag in its position.
Before mowing make sure that the blade and the blade fixing screw are securely fastened. When cutting edges
require re-sharpening, this must be done evenly on both sides so as to prevent any imbalance. If the blade is
damaged, it must be replaced.
While mowing, always wear firm shoes and long trousers.
Do not run the engine in an enclosed and /or poorly ventilated area, where gas of the engine contains carbon
monoxide, which is dangerous for your health.
Do not use the lawnmower when it is raining or when the grass is wet.
Turn off the engine if you must leave the lawnmower unattended, displace the lawnmower or incline it.
Never lift the rear of the mower while starting the engine and never place your hands and feet underneath the
chassis or into the rear discharge chute while the engine is running.
Particular precautions must be taken while mowing on slopes or downing stretches. Mow across the face of
slopes, never down or up. Maximal caution must be taken when changing the direction on slopes. Do not mow on
steep declines.
Walk, never run.
Use extreme caution when reversing or pulling the lawnmower towards you.
Stop the blade drive and wait until the blade stops if the lawnmower has to be tilted for transportation, when
crossing surfaces other than grass, and when transporting the lawnmower to and from the area to be mowed.
Do not change the engine governor setting or overspeed the engine.
Disconnect the self-propelled system before starting the engine.
Start the engine carefully according to instructions and with feet well away from the blade.
Do not start the engine when standing in front of the discharge chute.
Do not put hands or feet near or under rotating parts. Keep clear of the discharge opening at all times.
