LOW COST GC, SATURN 2000R GC (03-930090-01, -02 & -03), ASSEMBLY PROCEDURES

This is a Saturn GC shipped with a large face replacing the keyboard and the pneumatics bezel alone with no detector cover. The
following is a summary of the differences to a regular Saturn GC:

BASICS
Leave off 3 ball stud receptacles for detector cover.
Leave off hinge pivot blocks (normally used for pneumatics sub panel).
Do Not install Keyboard Cable.
1.1.2
FINALS
Install “Capital” keyboard housing & keyboard cable for the purposes of leak check, burn-in, and test. This will beremoved
from instrument and returned to assembly after test.
Install 1079 EFC on chassis front panel, behind keyboard housing, in right-hand location.
Do not include pneumatics panels.
Install pneumatics manifold block in lower position.
Only 1 1079 Injector and no detectors allowed.
Install only “flangeless” version of 1079 Injector; EFC is only type 21 or type 25.

TEST
Test per new ATP. Detlim sample is 10 pg (03-920274-00).
When test is complete shut down instrument, remove keyboard, and plug in power indicator cable (03-925855-01).
Switch instrument back on just to prove light works.
Return “Capital” keyboard with its cable to Assembly.
