Purify the mobile
phase, or replace it
with mobile phase of
a higher quality.
The gain level of the
recorder is too high.
Check the gain level of
the recorder.
Adjust the gain level
of the recorder.
The pump is faulty.
Check to ensure that
the operation of the
pump is smooth.
Check the pump.
Check for noise when
the pump is stopped.
