Circulation pump

Connecting the circulation pump to the boiler allows you to utilise

the pump stop function, which also operates the pump briefly

when it is not in use. The function can be disabled for continuous

operation. Max 2 A. Important: 230 V.

2

External unit

Fused socket for supply to external unit, max 2 A. Important: 230 V.

2

Load guard

The load guard uses current transformers to measure the load on

the main fuses.
The size of the main fuse, 35-125 A, is set on the PCB.
Position the current transformers on the cables from the fuses to

be protected, usually the main fuses. The connecting cable must

be high current insulated, with a cross-sectional area of at least

0.75 mm

2

. The common conductor is connected to terminal 4.

If the function is not required, the current transformers do not need

to be connected.

External alarm indication

There is a voltage-free alarm, indicating a triggered overheating pro-
tection., max 230V~, 2A.

2

Electrical installation

Electrical installation must be in accordance with the

applicable regulations, under the supervision of an
authorised installer.

The boiler and water heater must be filled with water before
electrical installation begins.
An all-pole circuit breaker must be installed ahead of the boiler.
The minimum cross sectional area of cable for external units con-
nected to the boiler is 1.5 mm

2

.

The ambient temperature must not exceed 30°C.
Sensor cables must not be laid next to power cables.
The internal connections of the boiler are already made in the factory,
and external connections are made according to the wiring diagram.

Do not drill into the cover panels of the boiler

– the residues may harm the electronics.

Power limit

The power of the electric boiler can be limited. See “Electronic con-

Electronic con-

trol - settings”.

Restart after a power failure

The boiler restarts automatically after a power failure.

Power supply cable - EP 26 E

A five-core power supply cable is connected to the terminal in the

boiler, max 16 mm

Cu,

50 A fuse.

1

Power supply cable - EP 42 E

The power supply cable must be PEN or five-core, made of copper,

max 25 mm

2

, 80 A fuse.

The phase conductors are connected to a contactor, and the earth

conductor is connected to a neutral terminal.
