Always keep the holes in the base plate clean from dust. 

 

Always connect a vacuum cleaner to the attached adaptor during your work. 

 

Take special care when sanding lead based paint: 

 All persons entering the work area must wear a mask specially designed for protection 

against lead paint dust and fumes. 

 Children and pregnant women must not enter the work area. 

 Do not eat, drink or smoke in the work area. 

 

Do not leave the tool running. Operate the tool only when hand-held. 

 

Ventilate your work area adequately when you perform sanding operations. 

 

Be sure that there are no cracks or breakage on the pad before use. Cracks or breakage 
may cause a personal injury. 

7  OPERATION 

Do  not  sand  plaster  surfaces,  (WARNING:  In  this  case  your  guarantee 
becomes void) this may clog the motor (brushes, ball bearings, ..). 

7.1 

Switching on/off 

 

To switch on the machine press the on/off switch. 

 

To switch off the machine, release the on/off switch. 

 

To switch the machine to continuous mode, you keep the on/off switch fully pressed and 
simultaneously press the loch button. And subsequently release the on/off switch. 

 

To switch off continuous mode, press the on/off switch again. 

7.2 

Attaching the sandpaper 

 

Open the paper clamps. 

 

Take sanding paper of the required grain size and place it on the sanding pad. 

 

Make sure that the perforation in the paper corresponds with those on the sanding pad. 

 

Fold tha sanding paper at both ends around the edges of the sanding pad.  

 

Close the paper clamps one by one. 

 

Make sure that the ends of the sanding paper are clamped. 

 

The sanding paper must be fitted firmly on the sanding pad and should not come loose. 

7.3 

Collecting the dust 

 

For a better dust extraction of the working surface, your sanding machine can be 
connected to the ordinary vacuum cleaner for house-use. 

 

Slide the suction mouth of a vacuum cleaner onto the connection. 

 

The vacuum-cleaner connecting piece is supplied with the appliance.
