9  ASSEMBLY

The  grass  trimmer  is  supplied  with  some  components  not  assembled.  To  assemble  these
proceed as follows:

9.1

Mounting the guard

Fix the safety guard to the trimmer head making sure the sides are located into the
grooves on the trimmer head.

Secure the safety guard onto the trimmer head with the screws provided.

Remove the warning label sticker from the cutter blade immediately after mounting the
guard.

Caution! During this operation beware of the line cutter blade. You may be
wounded.

Caution! Never use the grass trimmer without the guard. It is vital for  your
and  other  peoples’  safety  and  for  the  good  working  order  of  the  trimmer.
The failure to observe this safety regulation is not only dangerous but also
annuls the guarantee terms.

9.2

Install edge guide

Spread edge guide arms apart, then push ends into holes on housing.

Use the edge guide to limit striking objects with the Line while trimming nearby.

Flip the edge guide up out of the way when not in use.

9.3

Height adjustment (Fig. 2)

To adjust the height, simply rotate and loosen the collar extension lock knob (5) as arrow 1
shown and to extend or retract the extension tube (6) as arrow 2 shown.

Tighten the extension lock knob (5) to lock the tube on the selected position.

9.4

Setting the auxiliary handle (Fig.3)

Squeeze the adjustment button of auxiliary handle (4).

Turn the auxiliary handle (3) until the most balanced and most comfortable position.

Then tighten the adjustment button of auxiliary handle (4) to the chosen position.

9.5

Adjustment the cutting angle (Fig.4)

Your Trimmers has a 2-positions cutting head. This setting allows you to work effectively at a
comfortable  working  angle.  It  can  cut  accurately  around  the  flower  beds,  under  bushes,
around trees and fence posts etc.
To  change  the  angle,  simply  press  the  a  head  angle  button  (7)  of  the  cutting  head,  to  the
engine block to the desired position, then release the button.

Warning:  remove  the  battery  pack  from  the  trimmers  before  handling
setting.

Warning:  Always  wear  safety  glasses.  Never  lean  over  the  cutting  head.
Stones or debris can bounce or be thrown into eyes and face and blind you
or  serious  injury.  To  use  the  machine,  note  the  following  points:  Put  on
heavy clothing and eye protection. Hold the front handle with one hand and
the  auxiliary  handle  with  the  other  hand.  Store  unit  below  the  waist  level.
Have the unit from right to the left so that residues are always projected on
the  side  opposite  you.  While  avoiding  bending  over,  keep  the  section
parallel  to  the  ground  wire  (or  perpendicular  to  trim  edges)  and  prepared
the material to be cut (but not touching).
