prohibited.
7 SETTING TO WORK
After having read these instructions carefully, you can set your pump to work, reconsidering
the following:
Check if the pump rests on the ground of the shaft.
Check of pressure cord has been attached properly.
Check if electrical connection is 230V ~ 50 Hz.
Check if socket is in good condition.
Make sure that water and humidity can never come to the mains supply.
Avoid pump running dry.
7.1
Setting the ON/OFF operating point
The “switch on” point can be adjusted by repositioning the sensor (5) in one of the 4 possible
positions. (16, 20, 24 or, 28cm)
The switching on and off of
the pump is based on the “Hall voltage” principle (the Hall effect).
(Edwin Herbert Hall (° November 7, 1855 - + November 20, 1938).
The switching on and off of the water pump is controlled by the combination of two signals: the
change of the motor speed (loaded / no load) and the change of the water level (submerged /
dry).
Operation:
1.
When the pump is not submerged or runs at no load (dry), the electronic switch will
switch the pump off. If the sensor is still under water, the pump can only be restarted by
pulling the mains plug and then plugging it in again (reset).
2.
When the pump is under water (loaded) and the water level is above the two touch points
(submerged), the electronic switch will start the pump after 5-6 sec.. When the water
level is below the minimum pump level (dry), the electronic switch will stop the pump.
1.
When the pump motor is blocked (overloaded), the electronic switch will stop the pump.
The pump can only be restarted by pulling the mains plug off and then putting it in again
(reset).
