8 CONTROL OPTIONS
RH RF SWITCH
The ventilation unit can be extended with an RH (humidity) RF switch which
temporarily turns up the ventilation flow in case of an increase in the at-
mospheric humidity, e.g. when you take a shower (= demand response). By
touching the bottom of the control zone several times you can scroll between
the different positions. The LED in the upper right indicates the position.
Symbol Description
Device is running in position 1 (low)
Vasco recommends using this position when no one is present.
Device is running in position 2 (medium)
This is the standard position when people are present.
Device is running in position 3 (high)
This is the recommended position when showering or bathing. Can
also be used when there is an increased need for ventilation (visitors,
family get-togethers, etc.).
Device is running in automatic position medium
In this position, the flow-through of the air volume remains at the last
ventilation position selected. In case of a sudden increase in relative
humidity (for instance while showering), the ventilation unit will
automatically switch to the medium position.
Device is running in automatic position max
In this position, the flow-through of the air volume remains in the last
ventilation position selected. In case of a sudden increase in relative
humidity (for instance while showering), the ventilation unit will
automatically switch to the highest position.
Attention:
An internal RH sensor is located in the exhaust duct of the ventilation unit. Both
the internal RH sensor and the potential external RH switch indicate what the
recommended air flow should be as a function of the atmospheric humidity.
The ventilation unit will adapt its ventilation flow as a function of the greatest
demand. The internal RH sensor reacts on the basis of the RH value of the
entire home. The external RH switch reacts only on the basis of the RH value of
the room where it is hanging.
