Reporting
The main uses for reports are:
Troubleshooting
User Troubleshooting: administrators can generate reports to enable them to troubleshoot authentication
failures for specific users.
System Troubleshooting: system administrators can generate aXsGUARD Identifier reports to analyse and
solve system problems
System Audits
System administrators can generate reports to carry out audits of DIGIPASS records for devices or
administrator actions.
Security Audits
System administrators can generate reports to analyse suspicious activity.
Accounting
Reports can be generated to count the number of authentication requests per user or organizational unit.
Standard reports are provided in the aXsGUARD Identifier for the most common adminstration tasks. For a list of
the standard reports available please refer to the the
aXsGUARD Identifier Administration Reference Guide.
Note:
The domain referenced for a report in the Administration Web Interface refers to the permissions
for editing the report, not the domain for which the data is reported. See sections and
Custom reports can be defined to fulfil requirements not met by the standard reports. Custom reports are based on
the standard
report types
with a
report query
defined to suit your organization's requirements. How Custom
reports are defined is explained in the following section.
