Administration Interfaces
Note:
Please note that with a factory default aXsGUARD Identifier, only the system administrator with
the name 'admin@master' has access to the Administration Web Interface.
By default there are two system administrators registered in the Master Domain, which should
never be removed: one for system operation ('system') and one for the aXsGUARD Identifier
system administrator ('admin@master'). Please see section
for more information.
It is possible to create new system administrator accounts, in addition to the two default
accounts. User permissions are explained in section
4.5
Rescue Tool
The
Rescue Tool
allows Administrators to access a limited number of settings through a menu. Note that this is
not a TCL (Tool Command Language) Command Line. A TCL Command Line does exist within the aXsGUARD
Identifier, but is only accessible by VASCO experts.

The Rescue Tool can be used to:
Reset aXsGUARD Identifier configuration settings to factory default settings.
Reset the 'sysadmin' password for Configuration Tool administration
Change and view network settings, e.g. changing the IP address
Reboot or shut down the system
