Overview
Multiple aXsGUARD Identifiers can be configured to synchronize by replicating data changes between them. This
process is called replication, and can be set up using the
Replication Wizard
(explained below). Following
synchronization, all services are identical on both aXsGUARD Identifiers with modified data replicated in both
directions. Replication ensures that each database is up to date with the latest data changes.
In this chapter we provide examples of replication configurations, introduce the Replication Wizard, and describe
the replication process and how it is monitored.

Common Replications
15.2.1
First and Second aXsGUARD Identifiers
The most common, and most basic, replication setup is used when a company has two aXsGUARD Identifiers,
allowing a redundant setup in case of hardware failure. Following initial synchronization, all services are identical
on both aXsGUARD Identifiers with modified data replicated in both directions.
