The
RS232/485
serial interface port can be configured to meet your requirements.
Serial port function:
Select a controllable device from the list. If you want to use the serial interface to
transmit transparent data, select
Transparent
. To operate the VIP with a
terminal, choose
Terminal
.
Note
After selecting a unit, the remaining parameters in the window are set
automatically and should not be altered.
Camera ID:
If necessary, adjust the ID for the peripheral device that is to be controlled (e.g.
dome camera or PTZ).
Baud rate:
Select the value for the data communication rate in Bit/s.
