Using USB port is not allowed for other functions, such as
recharging electronic devices. This may damage and/or
cause the BVDR to malfunction.
Attention
During data download the user must wait for the message
informing that the recording was completed successfully
before removing the USB disk.
Removing the USB disk while writing data may damage it,
causing damage to your file system or corruption of stored
data.
2.4.8 Integration with telematics device
By integrating a telematics device with the BVDR, it is possible to connect it via
the web to the fleet management solution. The data stored in the BVDR memory
will be transferred remotely without the need for a USB disk. The data can be
viewed as a report on the
VDO On Board
fleet management platform.
When the BVDR is integrated with the telematics device and together with the
VDO On Board
system, the BVDR can send and receive information from a
