TV Configuration
The “TV Configuration” menu allows you to match the tuner optimally to the
connected monitor.

Select the required setting using the

keys.

Press the
OK
button to save the values you have set and exit the menu.
The following parameters can be set:

TV format
This allows you to set the appropriate screen format depending on the (TV) monitor
connected.

It is only possible to switch between different display formats if the selected
programme is transmitted in 16:9 format.

4:3 Letterbox
(for 4:3 screens): Display in “Letterbox” format.
(if 16:9 programmes are shown, black strips will appear at the top and bottom of
the picture).

4:3 Pan&Scan
(for 4:3 screens): Display in “PAN & SCAN” format.
(if 16:9 screens are connected, black strips will appear at the top and bottom of the
picture)

16:9
(for 16:9 screens): Select this option if a 16:9 screen is connected.

TV standard

PAL:
The TV signal is output according to the PAL standard (if the connected screen
accommodates PAL format).

NTSC:
The TV signal is output according to the NTSC standard (if the connected
screen accommodates NTSC format).

SECAM:
The TV signal is output according to the SECAM standard (if the connected
screen accommodates SECAM format).

Time Settings
The “Time Settings” menu allows you to set the time difference between local time
and the received world-wide universal (UTC) time.
If the time is still displayed incorrectly even when the time setting has been made, the
DVB-T tuner may not currently be receiving a programme that is transmitting time
information.
In this event, switch to another channel and check the time again.
Reinstallation
The “Reinstallation” causes all channel and favourites lists to be deleted. All settings
are reset to factory defaults.
Then the installation routine is started. Also see “Initial operation” section, page 10.
