The multimedia browser allows you to play MP3 files and to view JPEG images.
MP3 player
In order to be able to play MP3 files,
a memory card with MP3 data must
be inserted in the PCMCIA slot of the
MC 5400.

Select the “MP3 + JPG” symbol in
the main menu.

The multimedia browser appears.

Select “Audio”.

The MP3 menu appears.
Playing MP3 files
The following options are available in the MP3 menu:

Navigation (if a navigation system is connected)
Switch to the navigation screen. The “Forward”, “Back”, “Start/Pause” functions and
the volume can still be controlled via the system remote control.

Press the button briefly: The next track in the list is played.

Press and hold the button: Fast forward.

Back

Briefly press the button during the first 8 seconds of the current track: The previous
track in the list is played.

Briefly press the button after the first 8 seconds: The current track is starts again.
☞
Press and hold the button: Fast reverse.
■
Start / Pause
Starts playback of the MP3 files in the playback list or pauses them.
■
Remove
Removes the marked MP3 file from the playback list.
■
Remove all (Rem. all)
Removes all MP3 files from the list.
■
Select
Selection of MP3 files stored on the memory card.
■
Audio
Opens the Audio menu so that the volume and sound settings can be made. You will
continue to hear the current MP3 track playing.
