Viewing details relating to traffic information

Select the required traffic report from one of the three lists “On route”, “Nearby”
or “At destination” in order to view details relating to traffic information.
The following information is available:

Distance to the start of the segment
in which the traffic obstruction is lo-
cated;
❑
Length of the section in which the
traffic obstruction is located;
❑
Type of obstruction (e.g. road works,
stationary traffic, closed road).
❑
Road affected
❑
Information on the hold-up transmitted by the TMC provider.

TMC provider

If there are traffic obstructions on the route, the navigation system will also show
you the estimated delay that they are likely to cause.

How TMC traffic announcements are made
If TMC messages are available for your planned route, they will also be announced as
voice messages.

You will hear the current destination guidance message and the most recent TMC
message.

Pay TMC products
In some countries or regions extended TMC information might be available for an ad-
ditional charge. These pay TMC services are supported by your navigation system and
can be activated via the C-IQ Service Centre. See “C-IQ – Intelligent Content On De-
mand” section.

Pay TMC stations are only displayed in the TMC station list if you have activated the
corresponding C-IQ product.
