Adding an entry (only on SIM card)

Enter the desired phone number in the “Telephone” menu or
select it from the call list. If a number has already been entered,
you are prompted for the name as soon as the phone book button
is pressed.

Select ”Phone book” and confirm with the OK button.

Select “Enter name”, and press the OK button. The keypad for
entering the corresponding name is displayed on the screen.

After entering the name, confirm with the “OK” button. The entry
will be stored in the phone book.
In the event of insufficient SIM card or phone memory, an appropriate
message will be displayed. To store a new entry, if necessary, first delete
another entry.
SMS (Short Message Service)
When connected to the mobile phone, short text messages (SMS, up to
160 characters in length) can also be received and sent via the navigation
system. The availability of this function depends upon the network
operator, enabling may be necessary. Refer to the network operator’s
details.
Images, sounds or multi-media messages as well as excessively long SMS
texts are not supported. The phone number for the SMS service centre
must be entered via the mobile phone settings.
