CAUTIONS:

• The unit is intended to maintain the temperature of pre-heated food and

beverages; it is not designed to warm cold items

• The unit takes about 2 hours to reach its maximum warm

temperature (approx. 120ºF). It is recommended that items to be stored in the
warmer be pre-heated. This will assist the unit in reaching the maximum
temperature as quickly as possible

• The unit will continue to operate as long as the vehicle's battery

provides power

• If the vehicle engine is turned off, the unit will continue to draw power (a

minimal 3.6-amps or 44 watts) from the vehicle battery

• If the engine is switched off for a long period (overnight) it is

recommended that the unit be disconnected from the accessory
outlet to avoid draining the vehicle’s battery

WARNINGS:

• Food will stay warm for some time after the unit is disconnected or

turned off

• Observe common sense hygiene rules, as with any warming unit.

Do not eat or drink perishable items that may have spoiled or
become contaminated

CONNECTING TO THE SUPPLIED AC/DC CONVERTER

• Plug supplied converter’s power cord into standard

110/120 volt 60 Hz outlet

• Make sure that unit’s COOL/WARM/OFF switch

is in the off position

• Insert the 12 volt DC socket of the AC/DC power adapter

and the other end into

socket on cooler/warmer.

• Continue with steps 4–9 for cooler or warmer function

CONNECTING TO A PORTABLE 12 VOLT DC POWER SUPPLY

- Make sure that the unit’s HOT/OFF/COOL switch is in the OFF position.
- Insert the 12 volt DC plug on the power cord into the 12 volt DC socket on the

portable power supply and the other end of the cord into socket on unit.

- Continue with steps 4-9, for cooler or warmer function. Observe all

CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS. Refer to page 4 for Cooling and page 5
for Warming.

Note:

With a current draw of approximately 3.6 amps (44 watts), the unit will operate for
approximately 1.2 hours from a fully charged 12 volt DC portable power supply, such
as the Vector Pocket Power™ (Jumpstarter/Powe Supply such as the VEC021 will give
approximately 6 hours of operation and with VEC020 approximately 4.5 hours of operation.
