Quick Start Guide
Purpose
This document is intended to help customers or partners with the initial configuration of Vectra M29 appliances. This
is limited to basic network connectivity. The M29 appliance is used in place of a virtual machine for Vectra Stream
deployment. From a pairing perspective, the M29 functions similarly to other Vectra physical Sensors. The

covers basic firewall rules needed, initial Brain GUI settings, and pairing of physical
Sensors. Virtual Sensor (VMware and Hyper-V) configuration and pairing and covered in their respective Quick Start
Guides.
