1.Remove upper front part of the VX-2 steerign head fairing.
Unscrew bolts shown in the picture at both sides.
2. Remove M5 bolts at both
sides of ICM housing
as shown in the picture.
3. Mount lower bracket of windshield kit
using
[1] M6/40 bolt, [2] washer,
[3] 17 mm length distance sleeve.
4. Tighten bracket to ICM housing with
[4] M5/16 bolt, [5] large 5 mm washer.
5. Red arrows in the picture show points
where lower fairing of VX-2 should be
drilled. Mark points and drill holes of 20 - 24 diameter in lower fairing.
6. Mount lower connecting parts to lower bracket, tightening it
through holes in lower fairing, using
[6] M6/25 bolt, [7] 6 mm washer, [8] 10 mm lenght distance sleeve.
7. Instal upper bracket over VX-2 fairing by removing
mirrors, refixing them and in the samne time making
their threaded rods going through holes in upper bracket
arms together with [9] 8 mm distance sleeves.
Mount upper fairng of VX-2 back in its position.
8. Connect upper bracket and lower connecting parts using
[10] M6/16 bolt, [11] 6 mm washer, [12] M6 nut.
