Start-up

Your Vectron specialist retailer has programmed the POS 7 for you. If
necessary, he will be glad to support you during initial start-up and will
train you in using your POS system.

Set up the POS 7 in a well ventilated room with a temperature of between 0
and 35°C.

The POS 7 must not be covered during operation.
X
Select the setup site so that the POS 7 is not exposed to direct sunlight.
X
Place the POS 7 on a stable, even surface with sufficient space.
X
Make sure that no liquids can flow over the POS 7, the power supply unit or the
mains cable.
X
Route the cables so that they are not subjected to tension.
X
Route the cables in such a way that nobody can trip over them.
X
When mounting the POS 7 on a wall, ensure that the wall and the suspension
elements used have sufficient load-bearing capacity.
X
After storage beyond the operating temperature, the POS 7 must be acclima-
tized for 24 hours before it can be put into operation.
