PostEmph
Sets the post-cursor transmit emphasis (Post-
Emphasis) value in dB, for the Physical Lanes.
Select "ALL" to adjust the Post-Emphasis values for all of the
lanes, or adjust each physical lane individually.
Valid dB settings range from 0.00 dB to 6.02 dB, with a
Default value of 0.00 dB.
Some values may not be allowed depending on the lane’s
Swing value. If the lane's Swing value is changed and if the
current Post-Emphasis value exceeds the highest setting
allowed, the Post-Emphasis value will default to the highest
dB value available.
The laser module's transmit Equalization and Gain settings are automatically
configured by the processor.
MLD Test - CFP Info
The CFP Info screen displays common MDIO register values, as programmed by the
CFP’s manufacturer, for the inserted CFP4 or CFP8 module.
The CFP Info screen can also be used to write to the CFP’s MDIO register addresses
as per the CFP MSA Management Interface Specification.
If the inserted CFP4 or CFP8 supports Digital Diagnostics, then the following module
information is displayed on this screen and is also included in saved Module
Check/Module Info report.
The following MDIO Reference Addresses are compliant with
CFP MSA
Management Interface Specification
(100/40 Gigabit Transceiver Package Multi-
