Channel 14 requests switch action, Bit pattern

Extra traffic channel requesting switch, bit
pattern 1111. This is the Transmit Illegal button
setting.
K2 Bit 5 (Provisioned) (Ring Mode)
This function edits the 5th bit of the K2 byte. In Ring mode, this bit controls the type of
path code used.
The following options are available:
Options
Description
SHT / OTO
Short Path Code; Bit 5 = 0
LNG / OTN
Long Path Code; Bit 5 = 1. When selected,
both the Transmit Default and Transmit Illegal
button settings are configured for LNG/OTN.
K2 Bits 6-8 (Ring Mode)
This function edits the 6th, 7th, and 8th bits of the K2 byte. These bits indicate if a FERF
or FEBE occurs at the line level. The current value displays in the User Setup column of
the APS Commands function.
