Severely Errored Seconds - Path. Reports the duration of Severely Errored Seconds
(SES) on the incoming SONET signal.
SES-PFE
This reports the duration when 2400 or more REI-P errors are present at the far end
LTE or when a Path Remote Defect Indicator (RDI-P) alarm is present.
SESR
Severely Errored Seconds Ratio. The percentage of severely errored seconds for
available seconds.
SETS
Synchronous Equipment Timing Source 2.048 MHz.

telecommunication and data communications applications up to 4Gbps.
SFP+
Small Form-factor Plu
(Pronounced “SFP Plus”). An enhanced SFP module

Small Form-factor Pluggable 28. An enhanced SFP+ module that supports data and
telecommunication rates up to 28Gbps.
Signal Status
Indicates line frequency received by the unit.
SLA
Service Level Agreement
SLOT
Slot Number. The Slot number indicates which MPA chassis slot the test module is
physically located. Slots are numbered from left to right beginning with slot number 1.
The protocol processor tab names in the GUI include the Slot # as "S#", where # is the
Slot number.
