SAFETY ADVICE AND WARNINGS
• Please read this instruction manual before using your Velform
®
Contour
Sonic and keep it for future reference.
• Non-compliance with these instructions may lead to accidents.
• Do not stop moving the appliance and do not hold it in one position
during application.
• Do not use the appliance if you are or think you may be pregnant.
• The appliance must not be used by people with heart conditions.
• The appliance must not be used by people with skin conditions, rashes,
burns, scars, hyperpigmentation or broken capillaries.
• The appliance must not be used by people with silicone implants.
• The appliance must not be used by people who have undergone sur-
gery in the preceding six months.
• When using Velform
®
Contour Sonic, we recommend applying plenty of
Velform
®
Contour Sonic conductive gel on the area to be treated.
• Do not use the appliance on the face, neck, scalp, throat, shoulders,
knees, genital area or spine. Avoid contact with the joints.
• If any type of allergic reaction occurs after using the product, stop
using it immediately and consult a medical professional.
• Do not use the product on the same area for any longer than 10 minu-
tes every two days.
IMPORTANT: Do not use the product if you have implants in the area to
be treated, such as medical implants, an IUD, a prosthesis, screws, etc.
Use and care
• Clean the head with a handkerchief or cloth after each use.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic use only. Under no
circumstances should it be used for commercial or industrial purposes.
• This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with it.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or ins-
truction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
• This appliance is designed to be used by adults. It should not be used
by anyone unfamiliar with this type of product, people with disabilities
or children.
• Keep out of the reach of children and/or people with disabilities.
• Do not expose the appliance to extreme temperatures or strong mag-
netic materials.
• Do not use the appliance on pets or animals.
Instructions for use:
Before using Velform
®
Contour Sonic for the first time, remove the pro-
tective film from the head (1).
Connect the adaptor (5) to the adaptor plug (3) and connect the adaptor
to the power supply.
Place your right or left hand, depending on which is more comfortable,
on the back of the appliance and use the adjustable strap (4) to ensure
it is securely fastened.
When using Velform
®
Contour Sonic, we recommend applying Velform
®
Contour Sonic conductive gel on the area to be treated.
To turn on the device, press the ON/OFF button (2). If you have done it
correctly, the green pilot light will light up.
Next, place the head on the area to be treated and move it as shown
in Figure A. Do not stop moving the appliance and do not hold it in one
position during treatment.
