FIRMWARE UPDATE
The firmware update will allow you to check the new 5 euro notes with your BDET1.
To update the firmware, proceed as follows:
1.
Download the Firmware H02 and Update Tool to your PC and extract the zip files.
2.
Connect the PC and the BDET1 using the included upgrade cable (serial to stereo jack). See the pictures
below.
3.
Press and hold the left and right buttons simultaneously (do not release), and in the meantime connect the
adapter cable to the BDET1. See the pictures below.
A: Press and hold the left and right buttons
simultaneously.
B: Connect the adapter cable.
The display turns blue. The BDET1 is now in update mode.
4.
Browse to the folder where you unzipped the downloads, and run the program “Update tool.exe”.
