Functions
Audio Tone Discrimination
The device beeps quietly when it detects a small metal object; it will beep
loudly when a larger metal object is detected.
Sensitivity
Insert the tip of a small screwdriver into the SENS ADJ. hole. To set the
ideal sensitivity rate, slowly rotate clockwise to increase or anti-clockwise to
decrease the sensitivity, until both the audio and visual alarms signal
continuously. Then slightly turn anti-clockwise.
Reset
Press the reset knob to reset the device.
Low-Battery Indication/Earphones
Replace the battery if the device beeps continuously and the LEDs do not
burn.
Using earphones will help you hearing the audible alarm in noisy
environments. Also, the batteries will last longer.
