c. Shooting
•
Please observe the remarks in §2. Safety Instructions when shooting with the
TRC7
. A
practice target is included. Mount the target on the brackets as in the figure on the right.
•
If you will be firing the
TRC7
, open the hatch (fig.1 #4) and put some 6mm plastic BB bullets
in the bullet reservoir. Then close the hatch or put the enclosed figure on the reservoir.
Remove the protective plug from the cannon. Set the cannon switch (fig.1 #3) to ON.
•
When using used bullets, make sure they are clean and of regular shape. Dirty or deformed
bullets may damage the shooting mechanism.
•
When the remote control is interfered by other radio signals, the tank may not react correctly
and shoot accidentally. Immediately stop using the
TRC7
and switch the cannon off (fig.1 #3)
•
The turret has a limited turning range. It will stop turning when it has reached the end of its
range. Do not try to force the turret any further to avoid damage.
•
When the left joystick is pulled back, the cannon will alternately move up and down.
•
The shooting range of the
TRC7
is approx. 25m, but may vary according to the angle of the cannon, wind etc.
•
Always be very careful when shooting and always wear goggles.
•
Depending on the position of the tank, it is possible the cannon will not shoot although there are bullets in the
reservoir. This is due to the design of the turret and the bullet reservoir. Move the tank and try again.
•
To shoot, press the joystick out to the front. Before the cannon shoots, the warning LED next to the barrel (fig.1
#6) lights up.
d. When Finished
•
! First switch the tank off, then the remote control!
This is crucial to avoid erroneous operation.
•
Switch the cannon off and put the protective plug into the cannon barrel.
•
Open the bullet reservoir and turn the tank upside down to remove any remaining bullets from the reservoir.
•
Remove all batteries and battery packs and store the
TRC7
and the batteries in a dry and safe place.
6. Demos
a. Preset Demos
6 pre-programmed demos are available. Press the demo button (fig.3 #19) and push the
right joystick to one of the 6 positions to make the tank perform the corresponding demo.
b. Self-programmable Demo
1. Press the programming button (fig.3 #18). The LED (fig.3 #6), which is normally green, turns red and the tank's
headlights flash rapidly. The
TRC7
is now in programming mode.
2. Now execute a series of joystick commands to program the tank. When the desired sequence is programmed,
press the confirmation button ("OK", fig.3 #17) to save it. The tank will now execute the programmed demo.
3. If the confirmation button is pressed while the tank is performing the programmed demo, the tank will stop and the
programmed demo is saved.
4. If the confirmation button is pressed again, the tank will start the programmed demo but the joysticks can be used
to adjust the demo, thus overwriting (a part of) the previous demo.
5. When the desired demo is programmed, press the programming button to go back to normal operation mode. The
remote control LED will turn green again and the tank headlights will flash once.
