5. Using the Timer
1) Turn the device over until the "TIMER"-indication on the housing is on top : the timer is
activated automatically.
2) Press the "
"-button to start/stop the timer (
).
3) Press the "
"-button to reset the timer, regardless of whether or not the timer is running.
Note that the timer is automatically stopped and reset when the device is turned over to activate
one of the three other modes.
6. "World Time"-Mode
1) Turn the device over until the "WORLD TIME"-indication on the housing is on top.
2) The names of 21 cities from 16 different time zones are printed on the rotary switch at the back
of the device. Position the name of a particular city directly above the "
"-symbol if you wish
to display the current time for that city. Some time zones do not differentiate between summer
and winter time. Subtract one hour for the cities in these zones during our summer time.
7. Battery
Open the battery compartment at the back by removing the two screws and the battery cover.
Remove the old 3V-battery (type CR-2032) and insert a new one. The positve pole (+) should
face up. Close the battery compartment and tighten the screws.
Please observe all applicable laws when disposing of your old batteries.
