Once You Have Finished Using The Appliance

- Unplug the appliance from the main power supply

- Drain the water out of the appliance

- Clean the appliance

Tips to keep your iron working like new

1.

Use Distilled or Lime Free Water:

Tap water (even if it’s filtered) contains

minerals that can clog, corrode, and damage the iron, dramatically reducing

steam and potentially clogging your iron.

Always use distilled or low lime

    water in your iron.

2. Empty the Water Tank:

Have you finihsed ironing but have not used up all

the water? Then empty the water reservoir. Stagnant water evaporates

slowly, causing lime deposits. Therefore store your steam iron without

water to keep your iron free of calcium build up.

3. Keep it Cool:

The iron’s water reservoir should be filled when the iron is

cool and before it is plugged in.

4. No Solvents:

Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such

as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance. Never submerge

the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.

5. Safe Power:

If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 15-amp cord

should be used. Cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should

be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over. We

recomment no more than a 10’ extension cord and 14 guage wire. Lower

rated cords may void your warranty.
