Check/Replace Fuse
Your Velodyne Wi-Q subwoofer works in regions using 120V or 230V mains voltage. The unit switches itself
for use with either voltage level.
To replace the fuse, follow these steps:
1.
On the back of the subwoofer, locate the fuse drawer slot
at the base of the power cord connector.
2.
Insert a flat-blade screwdriver in the fuse drawer slot and
tilt the handle towards the subwoofer to open the fuse
drawer. (Do not attempt to detach the drawer from the
subwoofer.) The drawer contains two fuses - an active fuse
and a replacement fuse.
3.
Carefully remove the active fuse. Hold it up to a light
source and see if the conductor in the glass tube is still
continuous from end to end. You can also compare it
to the replacement fuse. If the active fuse looks in any
way bad, move the replacement fuse into the active
cavity. There is no fuse polarity, so it doesn’t matter
which way it is inserted.
4.
Push the fuse drawer into the back of the subwoofer
until it clicks into place.
Note:
If a fuse burns out or becomes damaged, you must replace the fuse with the same size and value
of fuse.
