Introduce the shaft with the second bearing into the motor group (n°25) and press until shaft is in its final position.
Assemble the second seeger ring on the flange. Install the eccentric weights with keys adjusting in the marked
position, mount seals and weight covers. Turn the shaft manually to ensure that it turns freely without axial play.
To replace the inverter board replace the board complete with wiring box cover (n°17) and make same connections.
3.2.2 VV-DC 3/500, VV-DC 3/1200 and VV-DC 3/1500 (page.

To replace internal parts the vibrator must be disassembled according with the following indications:
-
Disconnect the electricity supply and remove the vibrator from the vibrating machine.
-
Remove the weight covers (n°3).
-
Unscrew the nuts in the shaft ends and remove the weights (n°4-7-9).
-
Remove the screws n°41.
-
Lightly push on the shaft and remove the flanges (n° 10) from the casing. Make sure that the flange and casing are
kept perfectly square to each other and take care when the first flange is removed in order to prevent the bearings
from being damaged (n° 13).
The parts that need servicing will now all be accessible:
-
remove the old brushes (n° 11) from their housing and unscrew the relative cable. Now fit the new brushes in the
correct position, make the electrical connections and check to make sure that the spring effectively pushes the
brush down. It is essential to adapt the new brushes to the shape of the collector by repeatedly passing an emery
cloth between each brush and the collector itself. Lastly, it is advisable to examine the collector for wear. If it is very
worn, it should be turned on the surface after which the insulation between the commutator bars should be lowered.
-
push the bearings from their housing and check this latter. If there is no damage, fit in a new bearing otherwise the
entire flange must be replaced.
-
Check the seals during this operation and replace them if necessary.
-
To remount the parts, work through the demounting instructions in reverse order.
Turn the shaft by hand and check that its float is between 0.5-1.5 mm.
ATTENTION: Each time the above mentioned servicing operations are carried out, it is advisable to tighten the
screws with a torque wrench (see table at page 17).
3.3 SPARE
PARTS
To order spare parts the VV-DC vibrator type, the spare part code (page 16 and table) and the requested quantity must
be communicated to VENANZETTI.
