The comprehensive massage device for the prevention of venous com-
plaints - at a very low price.
Too much sitting, too much standing, poor nutrition: According to consistent estimates,
20 % of all Europeans have venous leg complaints and more than half is affected by ad
-
vanced vein problems. This global lifestyle disease starts off harmlessly with a tingling
sensation in the legs. The legs then become heavy, swollen and tired and spider veins
and varicose veins appear. The entire cardiovascular system is in danger and there is a
risk of ulcers, thrombosis, a pulmonary embolism and an inability to work.
How does a venous disorder occur? Veins collect the used blood in the body's tissue
and transport it back to the heart. Leg muscles and venous valves tense up and relax,
thus acting like a pump to transport the blood forwards into the veins. However, if a
person stands or sits for a long time, or if excess strain due to surplus weight leads to
congestion, the blood cannot flow away properly and the venous walls become over
-
stretched. Swollen legs are the result. The swollen leg forms an oedema due to the
fact that liquid and protein pass through the slackened venous wall and into the tissue.
A doctor should be consulted as a matter of urgency at the latest when such a venous
congestion becomes a continual complaint. Medicines are not able to prevent the con-
gestion, nor reverse the abnormal slackening of the veins. Surgical stockings are a tried
and tested means of supporting the weakened tissue from the exterior and preventing
swollen legs. However, they should be worn at all times. “Vein walking”, a special type
of sport which is very popular in the USA, specifically stimulates the circulation in the
veins and trains all important muscles. Again, this sport is only effective if practised
consistently.
Special massages using alternating-compression devices have proven to be particular-
ly effective and time-saving in the treatment of venous complaints. The VenenWalker
