Hydraulic Rotational Control
The LA162 power blower is equipped with hydraulic
rotational control of the blower discharge. The
discharge direction is controlled using the auxiliary
control lever* of the power unit.
Blower Defl ector
The blower discharge can be further controlled with
the blower defl ector. The blower defl ector can be set
to defl ect the discharge slightly downward to contact
the ground closer to the power blower. The blower
defl ector can also be set to direct the airfl ow down
at a steeper angle to remove leaves and debris from
ditches. To set the blower defl ector angle, loosen the
knob on the side of the defl ector. Move the defl ector
to the desired angle and tighten the knob.

Weight Transfer
If using an LE3100 or LE3200 equipped with
adjustable weight transfer, it is advisable to set
the weight transfer* to setting 2 or 3 to prevent the
gauge wheels from gouging soft ground.
