Attention! Quiet-S and Quiet Style have different front panels. The mounting and maintenance guidelines, operation
regulations are identical for the two models.
OPERATION GUIDELINES
The fan is rated for connection to single-phase AC power mains:
220 240 V / 50 Hz or 220 240 V / 60 Hz power supply, depending on the model type. For more detailed information,
see the casing sticker. Quiet-S 12 and Quiet STYLE 12 models are rated for connection to 12 V, 50 Hz power mains directly
or to AC 220-240 V, 50 Hz power supply via a step-down transformer, for example, TRF 220/12-25
(not included in the delivery set, available upon separate order).
The fan is rated for operation at the ambient temperature ranging from +1 °C up to +45 °C.
Ingress protection rating against access to hazardous parts and water ingress is IP45.
The fan requires no grounding.
MOUNTING
The fan is designed for wall mounting (Fig. 1) or ceiling mounting (Fig. 2) and connection to a ventilation shaft or a round
air duct of a matching diameter.
Attention! In case of vertical mounting the fan must be protected against ingress of rainfalls and condensate inside the fan.
Fan installation with direct air discharge upwards is not allowed, Fig. 3.
The fan mounting sequence is shown in Fig. 5 13.
The fan wiring diagrams are shown in Fig. 14 17.
Setting of the turn-off and turn-on delay time as well as humidity setpoint is shown in Fig. 18.
Warning! Only for T1.
If the turn-on delay timer was activated by the external switch, light switch, motion sensor, but during the timer countdown
the triggered action is cancelled, i.e. the external switch is turned OFF, the motion is not detected more, the indoor humidity
level drops down below the set point, the fan operates in the previous operation mode.
MAINTENANCE
The fan maintenance periodicity is at least once per 6 months.
Uplift the latches carefully to open the front cover with a flat screwdriver, Fig. 20.
To clean the fan use a soft cloth or a brush wetted in a mild detergent solution, Fig. 21 22.
WARNING!
Avoid water dripping on the electric components.
Wipe the fan surfaces dry after cleaning.
